Best Value for Money AC with Smart Features | Honest Long-Term Review

I recently purchased the Samsung 1 Ton 3-Star AC from Amazon and this is actually my third Samsung AC purchase for my home I already own one 5-Star model and another 3-Star model from the same series. All three ACs are working perfectly fine, and overall I am very happy with the experience.1) First of all delivery from Amazon was smooth and on time. The product arrived safely and everything was hassle-free.2) Talking about the AC itself the design is one of the best things about it. It looks very aesthetic, minimal and modern. It is not bulky or oversized so it blends nicely with the room decor and looks premium.3) Another major highlight is Samsung’s SmartThings app integration. Honestly this is one of the best features of the AC. You can control the AC directly from your phone without even needing the remote. The app also helps monitor the AC’s condition gives notifications for filter cleaning or maintenance and lets you check whether everything is functioning properly. It makes the whole experience very convenient and smart.4) In terms of noise levels I would say it is balanced. It is neither extremely silent nor too noisy somewhere in the medium range which I personally found ok.5) Coming to cooling performance I would rate it around 3.5 to 4 out of 5. The cooling is definitely good but not extraordinary. If the outside temperature is above 40°C and you want the room temperature to reach around 24°C it may take around 45-60 minutes to cool properly. However when the outside temperature is below 35°C the cooling becomes much faster and more effective. So while I would not call the cooling performance excellent, considering the price point, smart features, design and overall quality I genuinely feel this AC offers one of the best value-for-money deals in this segment.6) Coming to installation, the Samsung-authorized installation team was professional, experienced and punctual. They installed everything properly and the process was smooth and hassle-free.7) The only point I would mention is the installation cost. I purchased the AC for around ₹32,500 but had to pay an additional ₹2,500 for installation and related charges. While the service quality was good I personally feel the installation charges are slightly high. If the installation would be free of cost or atleast was closer to ₹1000 it would have been perfect.Overall the product quality, smart features, design and professional service were all very good. Just because of the slightly slower cooling performance in extreme heat and the higher installation charges I am giving this AC 4 stars instead of 5.
