LG 8 Kg 5 Star Smart Inverter Technology Fully Automatic Top Load Washing Machine

Excellent washing machine with powerful cleaning and quiet operation

I purchased the LG 8 Kg 5 Star Fully Automatic Top Load Washing Machine (T80VBMB4Z), and overall I am very happy with the purchase. The 8 Kg capacity is ideal for a family, and the washing performance is very good. The TurboDrum provides strong washing action while being gentle enough for regular clothes. The Pre Wash + Normal option is particularly useful for clothes that need additional cleaning. LG also provides Quick Wash, Tub Clean and Wool cycles, which cover most everyday requirements. The Smart Inverter Motor is one of the best features. The machine operates smoothly with relatively low noise and vibration. The 5-Star energy rating is also a major advantage for regular use.I particularly like the LED display and simple controls. The controls are straightforward and easy to understand, so there is not much of a learning curve. Features such as Auto Restart, Child Lock, Aqua Reserve, Extra Rinse and Smart Diagnosis are useful additions. The Middle Black finish with the tempered-glass lid (with soft close feature) also gives the washing machine a premium appearance. The build quality feels good, and the overall design is modern and elegant. This particular model does not have Wi-Fi/ThinQ connectivity, so it should not be purchased expecting smartphone control.Pros:Excellent washing performance8 Kg capacity—good for a family5-Star energy ratingSmart Inverter Motor with smooth operationTurboDrum washing technologyUseful Pre Wash + Normal optionQuick Wash and Tub Clean programsLED display with easy controlsSmart DiagnosisChild Lock and Auto RestartPremium Middle Black finishTempered-glass lid (with soft close)Good overall build qualityCons:No Wi-Fi/ThinQ connectivityOverall, this is a very good 8 Kg top-load washing machine for everyday family use. The combination of good washing performance, inverter motor, 5-Star efficiency, useful wash programs and LG's established service network makes it a solid choice.

Good Build Quality, But Rinse Performance Needs Improvement

Build quality is good and overall performance is satisfactory. However, sometimes in Normal/Strong wash mode, the machine takes water twice during rinse, and the rinse cycle runs for only about 2 minutes. Clothes on the top side also don’t move properly during rinsing. Overall, it’s a good washing machine, but the rinse performance could be improved.
