Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless Over Ear Headphones

My Best Expensive but totally worth it purchase of lifetime.

Having utilized these headphones for a full year, I am thoroughly satisfied with their performance. As a dedicated headphone user, I wear them for extended periods, including during workouts and study sessions. While the noise cancellation is not exceptional, it is certainly commendable. The audio quality is a standout feature, delivering the signature Sennheiser sound that meets high expectations. Although the weight is noticeable, one quickly adapts to it, and the secure fit, thanks to the excellent clamping force, is comfortable. The battery life is, without a doubt, market-leading, surpassing all competitors. These headphones offer versatile connectivity options, including Bluetooth, 3.5mm, and the rare USB-C audio. A significant advantage is the two-year warranty, which proved invaluable when I required a replacement due to a minor audio imbalance. The replacement process was remarkably smooth and efficient, a testament to the exceptional customer service I experienced in India, with the new unit arriving within a week. For anyone seeking noise-canceling headphones with superior audio quality to enhance productivity, this product is an excellent investment. This is one of the few purchases where I have absolutely no reservations, and I am highly inclined to acquire the next iteration, the Sennheiser Momentum 5.

Fantastic sound and reliable customer support

I’ve been using the Sennheiser Momentum 4 for nearly a year, and the audio quality and battery life are simply top-tier.These are easily the most comfortable headphones I've owned for long workdays and travel. The Active Noise Cancellation shuts out ambient noise effortlessly.Around two months in, I ran into an issue with my original pair. The replacement process was fast and hassle-free—I shipped the unit to the address provided, and Sennheiser delivered a brand-new pair within a week. The replacement has worked flawlessly ever since. Highly recommended for both the premium performance and the dependable warranty support.

Excellent headphones. But can improve

Pretty good. The best part is the battery length which is insane and a blessing as many has commented. As for music/sound quality this headset is capable and the quality will also depend on your source, codec(not much), tuning(eq), sound personalization etc. The default tuning is dull for my liking but if you play with sound personalization in their app you can get them to produce good sound quality to your preferences.Initially i had some loudness problem. The headphones felt quite low(relatively) in volume. Then figured out that you may need to play around by reducing phone volume and making headphones volume max by pressing the touch buttons and then increase phone volume etc. Now they sound powerful enough. Also the usb c to usb c may not play as powerful as usb c to usb A or simply via bluetooth. But i mostly use bluetooth. So i don't mind much.I dont use this as a microphone or for teams meeting etc. However in a couple of occassions when i got some phone calls could communicate fine without any issues.Cons(personal)Turning them on/off is a bit tricky. Hence many time when i am listening to bt audio in other headphones these connect automatically if in vicinity and audio plays through them instead of the device i am wearing. Perhaps i havent turned on the setting to make them automatically turn off if idle from app. Also in rare random occassions i have found that even if i have turned off touch controls in the app the headphones still change noise cancellation/transparency on accidentally press etc.Comfort - Ears used to pain initially upon long wearing as i have bigger ears and ear cups although had cushions werent large enough for me. But now i dont have problem and ears have got used to it and comfortable.Noise cancellation is average. That shouldn't be the reason to buy this. Reasons should be audio quality and battery life.About codecs/losslessNote, i mainly use a Samsung phone with just normal aptx support and they often sound better than when i listen via aptx adaptive in my motorola phone. Similarly i have btd 600 dongle and honestly i dont find it necessary to purchase an extra dongle even if you just have a Samsung. They sound fine and difference could be negligible if only you can even notice. When I connect these with wires(usb c or 3.5mm aux cable) in phone they don't sound that great compared to bluetooth. However if i connect to laptop with usb c to usb A they sound excellent with lossless quality from apple music etc.
