Qubo Car Dashcam [New Launch] Pro 2K Front + Rear by Hero Group (1 TB)

Overall nice

I’ve been using this dashcam for a few days, and I’m very satisfied with its performance. The video quality is clear during both day and night, and the wide-angle view captures the road well. Installation was simple, and the app connects quickly for viewing and downloading recordings. It’s a reliable dashcam with useful features and good value for money. Highly recommended!

Good Value Dashcam with Decent Video Quality

After using the Qubo Pro 2K Dual Channel Dashcam for a few weeks, I’m writing this review based on my actual experience. For the ₹3,000–₹4,000 price range, the camera quality is quite good. I’ve attached the downloaded sample video from the dashcam.I mainly bought this model because the front camera can rotate 360°, and I thought I could easily rotate it to record the car interior whenever needed. However, there is a catch: when you try to rotate the camera towards the interior, the power cable gets in the way. You basically have to unplug the cable, rotate the camera, and then reconnect it. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference so you can see the issue clearly.Pros:Budget-friendly.Good video quality for the price.Smooth and easy connectivity with the app.Multiple Recordings can be downloaded conveniently.Cons:No GPS.No speed tracking, even though speed/GPS-related functionality is shown or suggested on the product advertisement/page.The 360° rotating front camera is less practical than expected because the connected cable restricts rotation.Overall, the Qubo Pro 2K Dual Channel is a good budget dashcam if your main priorities are decent video quality, easy connectivity, and having an extra layer of safety and evidence while driving.

total you purchase Qubo Car Dashcam Pro 3K

During the day: Fast-moving vehicles show significant motion blur on plates. At night: Plates on vehicles directly in front of me are completely blown out/overexposed by headlight reflection, or too noisy to read. When a dashcam is advertised with a high-end sensor like the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675, expecting crisp, readable license plates is completely reasonable. It can be incredibly frustrating when you review the footage after an incident or a drive and find that key details like number plates are blurred, blown out, or pixelated.Dual Channel Issue: Unable to record simultaneously on front and rear camerasI purchased this dashcam specifically for the advertised "Dual Channel Recording" and "simultaneous front-and-back road coverage." However, in actual usage, only one camera can be used at a time. When the front camera is active, the rear stops recording, and vice versa. This completely defeats the purpose of buying a dual-channel system for full road safety coverage.Emergency Event Lock is confusing and doesn't clearly show locked footageI am writing to provide feedback on the "Emergency Event Lock" feature. The product details state that the built-in G-Sensor automatically detects collisions and secures footage in a protected file. However, in practice, this does not feel like auto-recording, and I am left completely unsure of which footage is actually locked.I am writing to report a major issue with the recording reliability of my Qubo dashcam. I have noticed that the camera only records properly if the Qubo app is open on my phone screen. If I switch to another app (like Google Maps, music, or a phone call), the recording fails, and the footage from that period is completely lost. A dashcam must record reliably in the background regardless of what else is happening on the user's phone. Please look into this app optimization bug immediately. The app needs to maintain its background connection and permission states so that background phone usage doesn't cause a total loss of critical road footage
