Petverse Automatic Cat Litter Box Self Cleaning

Wonderful!

Update on Feb 21 - First of all, their staff is exceptionally warm and helpful. I haven't seen this level of service from any product/service seller in many many years. Esp Mr Dinesh has been so so supportive and gone out of his way to ensure I have the right product and also know how to use it best. Now about the product itself. I upgraded to the closed litter box (Automatic Cat Litter Box Pro) as this open one was quite smelly and I had to keep it near the living room. This closed product is SOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER than the open one, especially since I have 2 cats and 1 kitten. This is easy for them all to use, esp the older cats. There is NO SMELL whatsoever, like AT ALL!!The garbage bag needs to be changed once a week only despite heavy usage. Its not as soundless/quiet as the open box but still pretty good. The only things one needs to be careful about is the amount and quality of litter you put in. Everything else works like a charm.I am really happy with this product. Whatever initial hiccups I had were solved by Mr Dinesh. Conclusion - Is it perfect, NO But does it makes life easier, mess free, carefree, odourfree - not just for me but for my cats too - a 100% YES!!advice would be if you want to keep the box in the balcony or an open area with just one cat - open litter could work. But for multi cat households best to buy the closed box - Automatic Cat Litter Box ProUpdate on Feb 1- Upgrading to the larger product. Will post an update on the experience in a week's time. Their team has been super helpful with solving the issue since I have contacted them tho. Which is nice.Update on Jan 26 - Not worth the money. This thing gets stuck mid-cycle multiple times and then you’re forced to manually fix it — which completely defeats the point of buying a “self-cleaning” litter box. The worst part? There is basically no real support. They have some chat option that replies many hours later, and when they do, they ask the most useless follow-up questions. One reply a day, if you’re lucky. It takes 2 days to get a single answer, and honestly you’ll probably figure it out yourself before they help. Now the product itself: yes, it removes the daily scooping. That’s the only positive. It’s too small for my cats - both my regular-sized cats and average weight cats struggle with it. The outer box looks big, but the actual litter area is tiny, so the sides get dirty almost all the time.So yeah, if all you want is to avoid scooping and are okay with poor design, frequent issues, and zero support - go ahead. Otherwise, think very carefully before shelling out 20k+ for this.

Good product from cats

cats got to use it quickly, it does its job silently, but sum time it get stop due to some sensors blocked in that case we have to open up and clean the sensors to restart only drawback is that if you are not there in home it is difficult to get it restart without clearing up the sensors my suggestion to have some blowers or small brush which can be used through app . Easy to install also not very complicated. It’s efficient for smaller cats . Larger cats could miss their mark as the space is small but the surface is extremely easy to clean . It comes with anti pinch technology so if a cat tries to get in while it’s on cleaning mode , it stops .The app is also easy to use , with auto and manual mode. As soon as you install it set it to manual mode so the cats are not startled by the cleaning process ! Over all it’s worth the price addition a spare Pad as to be provided if possible will be good ..

A very expensive cautionary tale

I am writing this review after using the product for a little under one month. I honestly wish there had been more detailed feedback on the product when I purchased it. I went ahead because a bunch of the reviews looked good, which now honestly makes me question how genuine those reviews were.It arrived on time and was easy enough to assemble. It did not really look like something manufactured by Petverse and seemed more like an imported product that has been rebranded, which would explain a lot of the issues I have had with it.1. This is not suitable for a cat older than 6 months or for a multi-cat household. Can the cat get inside the litter box? Sure. But there is barely enough space for the cat to stand in it. So when they poop, they end up pooping on the sides because they don't have enough space to turn around and position themselves properly.Which means you will have poop sticking to the sides that you have to clean manually anyway.2. The sensors don't work properly. This is the biggest issue for me.The sensor randomly throws an error and stops the automatic cleaning cycle midway. And this is not just a case of the litter box not cleaning itself. The entire litter box gets inverted and then gets stuck in that position. So now your cat doesn't have a clean litter box and doesn't even have a usable litter box, because it is literally stuck upside down/in the inverted position until you manually disassemble it, fix it and assemble it again. If you are like me and are spending ₹20,000 on a litter box because you want your cats to have a clean litter box even when you are away from home, do not trust this product to do that. This is exactly why I bought an automatic litter box instead of one of the semi-automatic ones, and unfortunately, this product does not solve that problem at all.3. Cleaning this is extremely hard.Even if your litter box manages to work properly, you will have to empty it every 3–4 days at most. Definitely not as long as advertised. And you don't just end up cleaning the litter box/waste compartment. There will be poop and litter sticking to different parts of the machine, so you end up having to clean the whole thing manually. So instead of actually reducing the amount of cleaning, I feel like I am doing almost the same amount of manual cleaning anyway.4. IT SMELLS.I have tried four different types of litter. I've changed where I keep the litter box. I've reached out to customer support. While customer support has been responsive, their resolution is that they want me to ship the product back at my own cost so they can check it.If you think you are covered under warranty and that means you are safe to buy this, don't assume that. You could very well end up stuck with a product that doesn't work the way you expected it to, requires a lot more manual cleaning than advertised, and still has a smell issue.I end up having to switch between this and a manual litter box, confusing and stressing my cats.I genuinely wanted this to work, which is why I waited almost a month before writing this review. But after using it consistently and trying different litters and locations, I unfortunately cannot recommend it. I really hope it saves someone some money, but more importantly, time and energy and stress.(Used AI for grammar/spelling, but the review & experience are 100% mine)

Need potential improvements

Only good thing is manual scooping not required. Issues: 1- odour eliminator does not help the smell for the whole day. 2. The rortating bowl gets soiled and is visible as an eye sore whole day. 3. The waste bin tray is ok, but the litter gets collected at one end only thus filling level goes higher at one end and requires shaking up at times. 4. The scatter of sand is much higher than normal open trays. 5. The fresh sand bowl is too small to keep the litter sand and the base rubber material gets soiled with urine thus smelling further.
