Excellent 5 seater for your living room

The sofa set arrived in an excellent and adequate packaging. The sofa is modular and hence all parts were dismantled and packed sturdily in the boxes alongwith the cushions. The requisite fastening bolts, nuts, washers came along with 1 fix and hex wrench set so as to ensure a easy DIY assembly process. The sofa itself is made of sheesham and it shows in the wood quality and grain. Each part is precisely cut allowing for easy fitment and the accompanying bottom seat boards are also made of good quality heavy MDF.The fitting will require 2 people but is an easy process once you arrange everything before assembly. The cushions provided are nice and firm and seem to be HDF which provides excellent back and seating comfort especially for people who prefer orthopeadic seating. As such the cushions are not for those who prefer soft and plush cushioning for their seating and bedding.Once assembled the sofa looks really good and seems to be value for money however a long term review would be more precise. It is sturdy since the entire frame is sturdy sheesham and by its virtue it is neither too heavy or too light to move around. Overall a good value proposition. The only 2 areas which need improvement are:A) Polishing - Since there are some polish patches on some parts.B) The sofa set needs atleast 1 inch round rubber/plastic feet or bushes since its bottom surface rests directly on the floor and it will surely damage the bottom surface polish when you drag or move it around your living room. These are easily available and cheap and would make no harm if the manufacturer includes them in the package hardware.3) Assembly instruction pamphlet can be more detailed with good diagrams and step wise numbering for novice customers who would do this assembly for the first time.So reducing 1 star for these 3 points. Nonetheless for under 30K this is a good buy and should last a good 8-10 years depending on your usage.
