Expensive! But Great 360 Camera
After watching hours of reviews and comparisons, I finally pulled the trigger on the Insta360 X6, my first 360 camera and honestly, I love it. 😎To my surprise, it connects to two DJI Mic Mini wireless mics without any issues, and the audio actually sounds better to my ears than the Insta360 Mic Air. After listening carefully to the Mic Air, I found it quite treble-heavy, seemingly tuned to boost vocals, which isn’t really my preference.I went with the Essential Kit because, unlike my 3 GoPros and DJI action cameras, I didn’t already have a bunch of compatible accessories. Now, about the whole price-to-value debate…I completely understand why some people are frustrated with the pricing after watching all the comparisons. But one thing genuinely puzzles me: why are people giving the X6 low ratings when they already own an X5, are happy with it, and didn’t even buy the X6? 😂And how is Amazon even allowing reviews from people who haven’t purchased the product?Funny enough, just last week I initially ordered the X4 Air. Cancelled it. Then ordered the X5. Cancelled that after two days. Finally placed the order for the X6.Yes, it was a HUGE jump in price. 💸But having tried to save money by going for older generations before, I’ve learned one thing: technology moves FAST. As media quality and camera technology keep improving, older generations can start feeling outdated sooner than expected. So to everyone saying, “X6 is overpriced, I’ll stick with my X5”…I have a feeling many of those same X5 owners will be selling their cameras in the coming months to buy the X6. 😏Yes. Read that again. 😎
