₹31,000 wasted.

Purchased this Durafit91 Vigor Multifunction 6 HP Peak BLDC treadmill from Amazon.in on 19 June 2026 for about ₹31,000.The listing promises a powerful brushless BLDC motor, reduced noise, longer lifespan and smooth operation up to 18 km/h. That is not what I received.Within two months of purchase, the moment I switch the machine on it makes a loud, abnormal noise. It does not sound like normal belt or roller noise. It sounds electrical / mechanical and I am not using it further because I do not want a fire, shock or motor burnout in my home.A treadmill that cannot even be powered on safely in the first two months is not “home use ready.” For this price I expected at least basic reliability. Instead I have a large, expensive piece of equipment sitting unused.Warranty exists on paper. After-sales follow-up after the fault appeared has been useless. Promise of a service visit, then silence. So the product is defective and the brand’s 1-year warranty is not protecting the customer in real life.Would I buy this again? No.Would I recommend it to family? No.If you are paying ₹30,000–₹35,000 for a “6HP Peak BLDC” foldable treadmill, do not assume the motor will stay quiet or that service will actually show up. Mine failed early. I am now forced to escalate this as a consumer complaint because a brand-new machine should not die this fast.
