amazon basics 6-Sheet Strip Cut Paper & Credit Card Shredder

Reliable and Efficient Shredder for Office/Home Use

I’m very satisfied with the Amazon Basics 6-Sheet Strip Cut Paper & Credit Card Shredder. It works exactly as described and is perfect for regular home or small office use. The shredder easily handles up to 6 sheets at a time without jamming, and it also shreds credit cards smoothly, which is great for safely disposing of sensitive documents. The machine is compact and doesn’t take up much space, making it ideal for placing under a desk. It operates quietly compared to other shredders I’ve used, and the strip-cut shredding is fast and consistent. The waste basket is easy to remove and clean, which adds to the convenience.I also like the auto start/stop feature, which makes it simple to use even for first-time users. The build quality feels sturdy for the price, and it doesn’t overheat quickly during normal use.Overall, this shredder offers excellent value for money. If you’re looking for a dependable, easy-to-use shredder for home paperwork, old bills, or expired cards, this product is a great choice. Highly recommended! 👍

Rip tear...throw?

Got it on July 2025 and it's going strong even now. One issue is the auto (shredder) option seems to have issues, it keeps running the shredder even though there are no papers to shred. I checked multiple times and there isn't anything stuck. But it is not a deal breaker though. It can shred papers, paper cards and credit cards (with some difficulty). Avoid plastic since it does not do much. It cuts off due to heat after continuous use of over 30min.

Amazing Product works well

One of the best purchase I had resently purchased, had a pile of documents to be discarded and ordered Amazon basics strip cut machine which worked like a magic, must buy, follow instruction book given and remove the safety pins or paperclip before putting the documents inside the machine... Overall best product

Amazon is not a customer friendly company

Worst product and worst of service by Amazon, I requested for return of product as it was not working on opening the package on 5th of February 2026. But it is really frustrating and shameful on part of Amazon that inspite of so many repeated reminders and rescheduling of pickup. It has not yet been picked up and my payment is still stuck with Amazon. I’m not sure how to get my money back from Amazon and get rid of this waste product which is totally useless.
